(Newser) – Disgusted with the Steubenville rape case, University of Oregon sophomore Samantha Stendal made a short video about how men are supposed to act, reports KVAL. It apparently struck a chord—the video has had about 1.3 million views on YouTube in just four days. In it, a young man comes across a girl passed out on a couch, looks into the camera, and asks, "Guess what I'm going to do to her?" He then puts a pillow under her head and covers her with a blanket before saying, "Real men treat women with respect."

Stendal says she is stunned at the response. "The message I hope that people can get from this video is that we need to treat one another with respect," she tells KVAL. "No matter what gender, we should be listening to each other and making sure there is consent."

love it killer video . i see a lot of the bullshit panning about women being sluts but pretty much all guys are, and at the end of the day no means no and unconscious means hell no !! I wouldnt have cared if she showed up in a mini with a t shirt saying born to screw , sex is a 2 person dance , when ya only have one consenting send her out and spank it . one thing is absolutely true " real men treat women with respect " if you cant see that you might want to get "growing up for dummy’" and renew your subscription to " duh " magazine .

I wonder why men across America don't just rise up and beat the shit out of the groups that say "Well, she was just asking for it! She was wearing revealing clothes/dancing that way/unconscious/screaming and kicking." Why are the nation's men okay with being portrayed as brainless slaves to their laprockets? They're so weak, they can't handle exposure to females without losing all of their senses and committing heinous acts? Yet, they're worried about a woman once a month?!
