(Newser) – It looks like the Tsarnaev brothers did have New York in their crosshairs after all. Yesterday, officials said Dzhokhar had told them that he and his brother intended to "party" in New York City after the bombing. But it seems that "party" may have meant "blow things up." During later questioning, Dzhokhar revealed that they had talked about detonating all their remaining explosives in Times Square, MSNBC reports. But officials consider this more of a half-baked idea than a full-fledged plot, calling it "aspirational at most." The revelation apparently came right before Dzhokhar was read his rights—then went silent. (Read more Dzhokhar Tsarnaev stories.)
