(Newser) – Justin Bieber has now officially ditched his pet monkey in Germany—but he still owes several thousand in vet bills, food and care for the abandoned primate, the AP reports. "You can bet we are going to ask for that money back," says a German customs spokesperson. Bieber had until yesterday to reclaim Mally, the now-20-week-old capuchin monkey seized by customs in March. It is now the property of the German state.

My first thought after I read the title of the article was "Now, now, Biebzy, it's not nice to stiff your Pediatrician." Then I remembered he's actually a full-grown dancing Monkey and probably sees an adult doctor for that insipid "Bieber Fever" he's always whining about.

Bieber can then actually sue the US for letting him take the monkey to Germany without the proper documents, causing all of this trouble.
