(Newser) – Another attempt to stay on the phone during takeoff did not end well for an airplane passenger Sunday. Lindsay Bien-aime allegedly refused to comply with multiple orders from the US Airways crew on the Fort Lauderdale-Charlotte flight to end her conversation, so the plane was forced to stop taxiing to the runway and return to the gate. There, sheriff's deputies boarded the plane and tried to remove Bien-aime, KLTV reports ... and that's when things got really interesting, as YouTube video shot by other passengers shows.

Bien-aime was having none of it, and to say she uses a bit of foul language in the video would be an understatement. When it became obvious she was not going to remove herself from the plane, deputies had to do it for her, as she screamed and ranted. And, according to the police report, "scratched, kicked, and violently resisted," allegedly kicking one deputy in the groin, scratching two others, and elbowing one in the face. Keep in mind this was all happening around 6:30 in the morning, and her 2-year-old son watched the whole thing. Needless to say, she's facing a raft of charges.

We have lost our civility. Every rule is meant to be challenged- every perceived slight has to be punished severely. Americans have the manners of a reality-show cast, and it continues to get worse every day. You can bet that if this woman had been armed, there would have been a few dead people on that plane- and for what? For expecting to be the exception to a rule everyone has to follow and get the f**k off her phone during takeoff. Too bad her baby had to witness his mother's deplorable behavior.

She should be BANNED from flying. Driving too if it's possible - I sure don't want to have an idiot like her next to me.

Now we know why they banned the " N " word as too descriptive, too close to the truth. so we can't go there.
