(Newser) – A crazy chain reaction in Colorado this week left a woman seriously inured. Warning: Don't read on if Bambi makes you cry. It all started when the woman hit a fawn with her car on a highway, CBS 4 reports. She stopped to see if the fawn was OK, and another driver stopped to help. Then a third car struck another deer—probably the fawn's mom—and that deer flew into the original driver who had hit the fawn. She's recovering, but no word on whether the animals made it.

It happens a lot to people. A deer crosses the road in front of them. They watch the deer and do not notice that ANOTHER one is coming along. Then end up hitting the second one or having a close call. In this case, the woman was so shook up about hitting the fawn, which are pretty big this time of year, she forgot that more cars are coming down the road. Hello? Anyone in there? Unless you hit a human being, either keep going or get your car out of the road way. Don't stand out there like a ninny and get hit by a car or - in this case - have a car hit a deer that hits you. Don't worry about the animal, worry about the next vehicle and the driver talking or texting and not paying attention.
