Amid the bad news out of Illinois from this weekend's devastating tornado comes this great Facebook post: "maggie found!!!!!" Maggie is the family dog of the Dann family of Washington, Ill., who was missing and presumed dead after the tornado, explains Weather.com. As family and friends were combing through the rubble of the Danns' home more than a day after the storm, they heard a bark—and soon dug out 11-year-old Maggie, who had somehow got rolled up in a piece of carpet, reports NBC Chicago.

Maggie was weak and banged up, with injuries including a dislocated hip, but she is expected to survive. "I'm very thankful and blessed to have my wife and my children," says Jon Byler Dann. "And finding my dog today was just unreal." (Weather.com has lots of reunion photos. It's reminiscent of the dog who crawled out from the rubble of an Oklahoma tornado on live TV.)
