Adweek is already declaring that a new Budweiser ad will be one of the winners to emerge from Super Bowl Sunday. "Puppy Love" is a heart-warmer about a pup and his Clydesdale pal, and the spot is a "worthy sequel" to last year's popular "Brotherhood" ad from Bud, writes Tim Nudd. "It's a bit less gritty than last year's ad, but the cute factor will overwhelm helpless Super Bowl viewers." The spot by Anomaly stars Don Jeanes, who was also in the Brotherhood ad, notes USA Today. The song is "Let Her Go," by Passenger. (Now for the big question: Will it sell beer? Super Bowl ads in general don't have a great track record of boosting sales.)
