She will take what is hers, with fire and blood.   (HBO via YouTube)

(Newser) – A New Jersey professor claims he was suspended over an online photo containing a quote from Game of Thrones that he says a school official perceived as a threat. Francis Schmidt is an art instructor at Bergen Community College. He says he was suspended for eight days after posting a photo in January of his 7-year-old daughter wearing a T-shirt with a quote from the HBO show that read: "I will take what is mine with fire and blood." Schmidt tells the Record that school officials questioned whether the reference was meant as a threat against a dean; the school has been embroiled in labor negotiations.

His mistake was assuming that the officials had ever read the books, or could.

Arrogance and Ignorance are never far apart. When it is combined with the National Education Assoc.; as is the case in the majority of public college /university administration, everyone suffers at the hands of fools. Kind of like a country that taps a traffic control supervisor/ painter or community organizer/protest leader to try and lead the country, don't you think? The end result is chaos -division and destruction.
