President Obama called out Vladimir Putin, Ukraine's pro-Russia militants, and the disgraceful handling of the investigation into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 today, reports Politico. The president argued that investigators needed "immediate and full access to the crash site." "What exactly are they trying to hide?" he asked, stating that Putin has "direct responsibility" to get rebels to fall in line and "stop tampering with evidence." By continuing to meddle in Ukraine's autonomy, Russia "will only further isolate itself," the president said. Obama's comments echo those of Dutch investigators on the scene today, adds the AP, who report seeing remains still scattered around fields and are calling for a full forensic sweep.
