(Newser) – That hours-old ceasefire Hamas didn't want and then suddenly did? It's violating it already, Benjamin Netanyahu tells CNN this morning. Hamas is "continuing to fire at us as we speak," the Israeli PM told Candy Crowley, adding that "Hamas is simply continuing all its operations, and Israel will not let this terror operation decide when it’s convenient for them and not convenient for them to attack our people." "We're faced with a very ruthless terrorist enemy," he continued, accusing Hamas of using "civilians as human shields."

Netanyahu said that with those civilian casualties, Hamas was trying to "mislead the entire world" by piling up "more and more dead bodies," notes Politico. Netanyahu's appearance comes as Mahmoud Abbas is said to be readying a delegation to send to Cairo for further negotiations.

Netanyahu never tires of telling the same lie over and over. The Israeli who are not Zionists, and believe being born there does not mean they have to fight ruthless wars to make the Zionists on top richer, should rise up, take over the government, and create a nation where boys don't have to die for greedy old men. He should choke every time he lies like that.

This war is absolutely ridiculous. Israel should have their own country and both sides should be allowed to live in any country and practice any religion without fear of persecution. Israel won the right to make their borders just like any other country. This would be the same as if Spain, Mexico and Natives constantly harassing US civilians with terrorism trying to take back what was theirs. I'm not pro Israeli or Palestinian but what is done is done. Let Israel have their miniscule country and they should let the Muslims live and practice their religion in that country. It should be a free society for both. What's happening now is just a bunch of kids fighting for control of the sandbox.

"Aside from the church and the cemetery there are no other traces of the Iqrit built around 270 years ago by Christian Palestinian families. The Israeli army bombed the entire village in 1951. Then the newly established state of Israel appropriated the area. For decades Iqrit’s leafy hills were under virtual lock and key by a closed military order, and today it is under the stewardship of the lands administration re-zoned as a park. Under Israeli law, permanent structures cannot be built in nature preserves and so the youth sleep in the town’s church or in tents." http://mondoweiss.net/2014/06/israeli-palestinian-returned.html
