Customers at Big Woody's bar in Chesapeake, Va., weren't terribly comfortable with two of the pub's patrons over Labor Day weekend: Chrystal McCullough and her infant daughter, whom she was breastfeeding while having a beer, Fox News reports. Staff closed her tab down and asked her to leave, but while McCullough doesn't deny drinking, she says she only had a couple of sips, that she was guzzling water, and that the rest of the beer—and the shot of Fireball whisky in front of her—was for when she finished nursing, she tells WTKR via Fox.

McCullough says the problems began when a manager came over to ask her to be more "discreet" about breastfeeding her baby, KHOU notes. It was then that he reportedly noticed the drink in front of her and said, "I'll be cashing you guys out." McCullough was asked to leave because "it became confrontational," one of the co-owners tells KHOU—but McCullough says they violated her rights as a mom and hurt her feelings. "[Breastfeeding] is a natural right that you're allowed to give your child," she says. She adds, "I was so angry and so hurt and in disbelief. I have nothing to hide," according to My Fox Philly.
