The father of a Native American actress found dead in the woods this week says his daughter died while running away from the cops, Fox News reports. Misty Upham, 32, who acted in August: Osage County and Django Unchained, "did not commit suicide," Charles Upham writes on Facebook. She ran from police into an area with "a hidden drop off" and probably "slipped and fell off of the steep embankment," he adds. Why run at all? Upham was "afraid" of police in Auburn, Washington, who had teased and taunted her before during an "involuntary transport to the ER." Misty had been missing since Oct. 6, the day after her family called police to say she was suicidal and off her medication for bipolar disorder. (More police stories.)
