What seems to have become an annual tradition is unfolding in Hyannis, Massachusetts: An anonymous man has been visiting fast-food shops and handing over $100 to each employee, reports the Boston Globe. He's an older guy with the same approach: He asks the manager how many people work there, then hands over an envelope for each with the money inside. So far, he's visited Marylou's coffee shop, two McDonald's, and two Dunkin' Donuts, and this isn't the first year. “He was kind of like an angel, honestly,” one recipient tells the Cape Cod Times. “I have goose bumps still.” (More uplifting news stories.)
