Teenage Clerks Brilliantly Foil Would-Be Robber
The would-be robber.   (Coventry (RI) Police Department)

Best attempted-robbery story in a while: When a guy in a lame disguise walked into a Subway store in Coventry, Rhode Island, and demanded money, the young clerks simply ignored him until he went away, reports NBC News. Or as police put it, "the two teenage employees did not respond to the suspect." The poor guy didn't seem to know what to do at that point. He "became agitated and mumbled something under his breath as he walked out of the business," say police. As for the disguise: That's a white T-shirt on his head and a plastic bag on his face. Cops have released his image and would like a word. (More weird crimes stories.)
