Jayne Appel posted a career-best 33 points, 29 in the first half, as the Stanford Cardinal crushed first-timers Cleveland State last night, 85-47. Kaley Klein posted 16 points for 15th seeded Cleveland State, who won a mere eight games last year, the AP reports. Stanford will take on either UTEP or Western Kentucky on Monday.
