Well, it looks like ol' Bernie Sanders has called Donald Trump's bluff. The AP reports Trump released a statement Friday reading, "As much as I want to debate Bernie Sanders, I will wait to debate the first place finisher in the Democratic Party." He adds that debating Sanders now would be "inappropriate." Trump said he was willing to debate Sanders on Jimmy Kimmel's show Wednesday. He clarified Thursday that he would debate Sanders only if they raised $10 million for charity. On Friday, technology investment company Traction and Scale offered to make that donation, according to the Hill. And Sanders, in his own statement Friday, said his campaign already has two offers from TV networks willing to host the debate that "both ... include a major contribution to charity." But in the end, it seems America won't get its pointless debate and charities won't get their not-so-pointless $10 million. (More Donald Trump stories.)
