Cops: Wannabe Batman Throws Batarang at Pursuing Officers
A man allegedly hurled this batarang at pursuing police officers Monday evening in Gotham, er, Seattle.   (Seattle Police Department)

He's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. Actually, you know what, he's probably not the hero Gotham deserves either. The Seattle Police Department reports a 23-year-old man wanted on suspicion of assault threw a batarang at pursuing officers Monday evening. The cops were called after the man reportedly threatened the bouncer at a neighborhood bar with a homemade spear. As the man ran from two officers, he allegedly whipped a "sharp, black Batman-style throwing star" at them. And while it didn't keep him from being arrested, the man's batarang skills would no doubt have done the Dark Knight proud. Officers found the weapon embedded in the front of a police SUV.
