(AP) - To the victors go the massive ticker-tape parades. Thousands roared as Giants quarterback Eli Manning hoisted the team's Super Bowl trophy during a parade today through New York City. Today's parade set off from the southern tip of Manhattan and moved slowly north to City Hall as confetti wafted down from the high-rises. (NEWSER) - Kickoff in tonight's Giants-Patriots contest is still hours away, but New York is apparently already hawking T-shirts commemorating their victory. In a flub caught by the New York Post , the team's website yesterday briefly featured an ad touting the team's victory in Super Bowl XLVI, and offering up official Super Bowl gear to fans. 'We are fighting for equality here,' bride says

(NEWSER) - They met while looking for a place to pray amid the tents and protesters in Zuccotti Park. A month later, the two lovebirds said "I do" in the very same park, surrounded by friends and fellow Occupiers, the New York Daily News reports. Emery Abdel-Latif, 24, and Micha Balon, 19, tied the knot this morning in a tradition Muslim wedding on a small bench. "This is a good way not to make the marriage about ourselves,” says Balon. “We are fighting for equality here." More»
