The Black Hole just got one step closer to Sin City. The Los Angeles Times reports the Oakland Raiders have officially filed their application to relocate to Las Vegas. The application will be reviewed in the next few weeks and will likely be voted on in March. Twenty-four of the NFL's 32 owners must approve it. This is the second time in two years the Raiders have attempted to leave Oakland, according to CBS Sports. The team applied to relocate to Los Angeles last year but was beat out by the then-St. Louis Rams. If the move is approved, the Raiders will be Las Vegas' second professional sports team. The Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL were announced last year. (More Oakland Raiders stories.)
