He blames gaffe on show's focus on political issues

The Oscars took some shots at President Trump Sunday night, and Trump says the show might have paid the price in the form of its epic envelope screwup. In an interview with Breitbart News, Trump suggests that Hollywood should stick to entertainment: “I think they were focused so hard on politics that they didn’t get the act together at the end,” he said. "It was a little sad. It took away from the glamour of the Oscars." Breitbart, the right-wing outlet formerly run by Trump senior adviser Steve Bannon, says it will have more on Trump's interview on a range of subjects later. (More Oscars stories.)
