Kathy Griffin's year of woe continue, and the latest dust-up hits close to home, literally. The comedian and her boyfriend reportedly phoned Los Angeles police on Saturday night to complain about what they felt was excessive noise coming from their neighbor's property, and it didn't end well. That neighbor is Jeffrey Mezger, described by Bloomberg as the CEO of one of the biggest homebuilders in America, and HuffPost has audio of the profanities and sexist and homophobic slurs the KB Home exec lobbed at her. It comes via the security cameras on Griffin's Bel Air property and was given to the site by her longtime boyfriend, Randy Bick. In it, Mezger tells Bick he's "stuck with a f---ing bald dyke" (a reference to this; her sister died Thursday).

Obscenities follow, and he closes with "I've done enough trying to be a nice partner. F--- you, neighbor. War's happening." In a statement, KB Home says Mezger has "apologized in writing," "regrets losing his temper," and says his word choice doesn't "reflect who he is or what he believes." Bick tells HuffPost they phoned authorities after hours of noise; KB Home says the call was made as Mezger's three young grandchildren played in his pool around 8pm under the supervision of their mother and grandmother. It further alleges a "series of unneighborly actions" by Griffin and Bick, with the statement claiming they've called police and homeowners' association security as many as 10 times in the year they've been in the home, reports the New York Times, which notes Suze Orman had some quick criticism: "You really want to buy a home from this man? Beyond Disgusting!" (More Kathy Griffin stories.)
