(Newser) – Police in the Boston area have arrested the man suspected of sending white powder and a threatening note to Donald Trump Jr., NBC New York reports. Daniel Frisiello was arrested Thursday morning while on his way to work. Authorities say the 29-year-old from Beverly was cooperative. A letter containing white powder addressed to Trump Jr. was opened by his wife, Vanessa Trump, last month. "You are an awful, awful person," Mass Live quotes the note included with the powder as reading. "I am surprised that your father lets you speak on TV. You make the family idiot, Eric, look smart." Vanessa Trump called 911, complaining of coughing and nausea, WCVB reports. She was taken to the hospital as a precaution. Officials later determined the white powder was nonhazardous.

Authorities say Trump Jr. wasn't Frisiello's only target. He allegedly sent white powder to a California US Attorney he blamed for the death of former Glee actor Mark Salling, who killed himself in January while waiting to be sentenced for child pornography. Authorities say he sent white powder—and earlier a box of glitter from an online prank service—to a Stanford University professor who advocated for a victim of rapist swimmer Brock Turner and tried to get the judge in the case recalled. Frisiello allegedly sent another note with white powder to a Michigan senator who supported the father of three of Larry Nassar's victims who attempted to attack Nassar in court. Authorities say Frisiello's final letter was sent to actor Antonio Sabato Jr., who's running for office. Frisiello faces five counts of making hoax threats and five counts of mailing a threat to cause injury.
