Lohan Lifts Mink, Returns Under Pressure

Posted May 6, 08 9:21 AM CDT in US Gossip

(Newser) – A Columbia student wants answers—and $10,000—from Lindsay Lohan after the actress "borrowed" her beloved mink coat, the New York Post reports. Two weeks after losing the one-of-a-kind fur, the 22-year-old spotted a photograph in OK! magazine of Lohan leaving that exact party sporting the $11,000 luxury outerwear.

"It was my coat. It was no doubt!" said Masha Markova. After seeing photos of Lohan wearing a black coat before the party and the distinctive blond fur afterward, Markova’s lawyer contacted Lohan's. Two days later, the coat returned home—damaged. "I don't see how it could have been an accident," Markova said.
