Polanski Sex Victim 'So Over It'

Posted May 8, 08 10:00 AM CDT in Gossip

(Newser) – Fugitive director Roman Polanski would be a free man in the US if it were up to the woman he drugged and had sex with when she was 13 years old. "He took advantage of me," Samantha Geimer, now 45 and mother of three told the Daily News. "But I'm so over it. Worse things are happening to people right now."

Geimer, who reached a civil settlement with Polanski years ago, was attending the New York screening of Polanski: Wanted and Desired, a documentary of the 1997 scandal. She still feels "surgically joined to him by this case. I would like to see it resolved."
