(Newser) – The Clinton campaign strenuously denied an AP report today that Hillary Clinton will concede defeat in the Democratic delegate race tonight in New York. Unnamed "top advisers" tell AP she won't formally drop out or endorse her Democratic rival, but she will acknowledge Obama's delegate win, and her campaign will be effectively over. Clinton campaign chief Terry McAuliffe denied the report in a phone interview on CNN.

McAuliffe said the report is "100%" incorrect, adding that Obama "doesn't have the numbers today, and until someone has the numbers the race goes on."
