Paris Hilton welcomed a son in January, and the very public heiress has occasionally taken to social media to post photos of little Phoenix. Her latest post drew a lot of blowback, much of it regarding the size of Phoenix's head, and the new mom isn't having it. As TMZ reports, Hilton went on X, formerly known as Twitter, to address commenters who said things like, "Looks like she snagged a weather balloon." As Fox News notes, one person questioned whether her son had encephalitis, an inflammation of the brain.
She writes, per CNN, "Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable. This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe." She concludes: "I've dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember. Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It's hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence. I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy." (More Paris Hilton stories.)
