Man Gets Saucy, Calls 911 When Sandwich Has None
A Florida man called 911 twice--once to ask for police help in ensuring his sandwich was made correctly, then to tell them to hurry to the scene--after Subway sandwich-makers omitted his spicy sauce.   (Getty Images)

A Florida man became belligerent and dialed 911 when sandwich-makers at his local Subway forgot to add special sauce to his spicy Italian sandwich, the Times-Union reports. The 42-year-old construction worker rang police again when officers failed to arrive quickly enough. After failing to calm him down, police arrested the man for making false 911 calls.

"We put everything that he asked for on it, and he comes back hollering at everyone," said an employee. "He was mad because we didn't put any sauces on it." (More Subway stories.)
