Lucky 7s Capture Calendar

(Newser) – Saturday will be a big day for the superstitious—it's 7-7-07, and fans of numerology are out in force. About three times the normal number of couples will tie the knot, including Tony Parker and Eva Longoria. Casinos, amusement parks, and houses of worship are preparing for the big day, as are the sites hosting Live Earth concerts.

Among the innumerable hotel packages tied to the lucky day, the Central Park Ritz-Carlton's is a grabber: It includes a reception for 77, a seven-tier wedding cake, seven Tiffany diamonds for the bride, and a seven-night honeymoon at any Ritz in the world for $77,777. Superstitious or not, that's one lucky bride.
