Rays Rout Boston, 13-4; Lead Series 3-1

(AP) – Tampa Bay rocked Tim Wakefield and the Boston Red Sox tonight in a 13-4 victory at Fenway that put the defending champs on the brink of elimination. Evan Longoria hit his rookie-record fifth home run of the playoffs, and Carlos Pena and Willie Aybar also homered off aging knuckleballer Wakefield.The Rays now lead the best-of-7 series 3-1 and are a game away from their first AL pennant.
