Automaker asks feds to block public tracking of plane leased for execs

(Newser) – General Motors doesn’t want the public tracking a private jet used by its executives, Bloomberg reports, asking the Federal Aviation Administration to block it from its public service. “We availed ourselves of the option as others do to have the aircraft removed,” said a GM spokesman, though he didn’t say why the automaker, blasted on Capitol Hill for using the planes, took the step.

If they can still afford private jets, I see no need for a bailout. Especially after they requested the FAA to censor; they're attempting to hide the inexcusable.

Executive Protection from what? geee uhhh.... Those crazy reporters.. Yeah, well if they're going to get my tax dollars for their incompetence, I have a right to know how they are going to waste it. Got it? So f--k their 'protection.'
