(AP) – The family of the Wal-Mart temp worker who was trampled to death by a Black Friday stampede has filed a wrongful death lawsuit in New York's state Supreme Court against the retailer and the Long Island mall where the store is located. The family also filed notice that Nassau County, on Long Island, and its police department will be sued.

Jdimytai Damour, a temporary worker hired for the holiday season, was crushed to death when some 2,000 customers stormed into the Valley Stream store looking for bargains the day after Thanksgiving.

This also shows how sick people are when they can walk all over a person just to get a good deal. This guy was 6 feet tall and 250 feet that is why in an article I read on another site said . They used him for the front door area to discourage the crowd from getting this bad cause he look like a football player linebacker. All these people were worried about was who would be first to get a stupid TV or what not on sell. Life is precious this is so sad. Like the comment above they need security this guy was not security he was a temp worker. I really feel for this family.

Makes perfect sense. Wal-mart should have had efficient security.
