Paris Slays 'Misconceptions'

Indeed, having a nightclub at home makes life soooo much simpler

(Newser) – Paris Hilton dishes to Esquire about what she’s learned from being, well, Paris Hilton. For starters, she wants everyone to know she’s not a brainless celebutard—“I was up making phone calls at seven in the morning, and I’ll be working until 1 a.m.” But she knows what she’s working toward: being “a blond icon.”

It’s not all work and no play, though. “Having a nightclub in your house really helps for having a party, because then you don’t need to go out.” And what a house it is. “I call it my Paris Palace. It’s beautiful. Every room has beautiful crystal chandeliers and amazing moldings from Italy. When people come over they say, ‘Hey, this looks just like you.’”

If my kids got bothered by paparazzi, Paris Hilton says, I would just tell them to not pay too much attention and don't do anything silly like give the middle finger.

I put pheromones in a lot of my fragrances, and that attracts people to you. My new fragrance is called Fairy Dust. I'm dressed kind of like Tinkerbell. - Paris Hilton
