Newt: Jindal Will Be a Major Player for Years

'He'll be the same age as John McCain—34 years from now'

(Newser) – Guess who's the subject of a 60 Minutes profile this weekend? None other than Bobby Jindal, who's not having the best of days. But the Louisiana governor can take solace from Newt Gingrich, who tells Morley Safer during the show that Jindal "will automatically be a major contender for the presidency for many, many years," notes the Chicago Tribune. And why's that? "He'll be the same age as John McCain—34 years from now," says Gingrich.
