Now his re-election team has set up a website where grassroots supporters can read Obama's side of the story and spread it around, USA Today reports. He said he was 'bored'

(NEWSER) - A "bored" London court clerk was busted after looking at hardcore bondage pornography in the middle of a British rape trial. The judge spotted the photos on the clerk's computer as he peered over his bench while the victim described her horrific attack. When the judge "noticed what was taking place, he initially hoped that he had been mistaken or the behavior would desist," according to court records. It didn't. Police found several similar images and kiddie porn on the clerk's work and home computer, reports the Daily Mail . He told the court he "only looked at porn if the case was boring." More»

Chrysler ad a political football

It's "halftime" in America, and we're all pulling together for a brighter economic future, says the gravelly-voiced star. But Eastwood was opposed to the bailout that made the Chrysler turnaround possible, and now the ad has become a political football as Dems score points with it and the GOP tackles it, notes ABC News . “Saving the American Auto Industry: Something Eminem and Clint Eastwood can agree on," crowed White House spokesman Dan Pfeiffer on Twitter, referring to Eminem’s Chrysler ad during last year's Super Bowl. "Powerful spot," chimed in Obama re-election strategist David Axelrod. State Senate expected to do away with 19-year-old limit today

(NEWSER) - Today's big gun story comes not from Arizona , but Virginia: The Virginia Senate aims today to shoot down a 19-year-old cap limiting residents to buying just one gun a month. Earlier this week, the Senate also passed a bill prohibiting towns from requiring fingerprints from people seeking permits to carry concealed weapons. The gun bills are two of a flood of changes expected to come down the Virginia pike now that the GOP controls the state Senate, House, and governor's mansion for only the second time since the Civil War. Indiana governor says US must be 'pro-growth' instead

(NEWSER) - President Obama may be bullish about the state of the union, but he shouldn't be, said Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels in the GOP response. Obama was elected to fix the nation's financial problems, but he's only made them worse, said Daniels.
