(Newser) Sex and the City fans, rejoice: Chris Noth, aka Mr. Big, has signed on for the sequel, Sarah Jessica Parker tells E! Elsewhere:

  • Hollywood is panicking over news that the Jolie-Pitts’ ex-bodyguard might write a tell-all, MSNBC reports. “If this kind of thing can happen with Brad and Angie, it can happen to anyone,” says one publicist. “If Mickey isn’t stopped—even if it’s lies that he puts out there, it plants a seed.”

  • Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby daddy will soon be released from intensive care, People reports. A source says Casey Aldridge does not need surgery
  • Dina Lohan, whose way-too-thin daughter Lindsay is currently romping in Hawaii, has some healthy advice, the Sun reports: “I’m a mom. If I see my daughter a little thin, I say, ‘Eat more McDonald’s.’”
  • Mia Farrow certainly won’t be eating any McDonald’s after starting her hunger strike for Darfur yesterday. “I am a little nervous,” she admits to Fox News, but also “proud to do whatever I can to the plight of the displaced people.”
  • Ewan McGregor is Scottish, but he doesn’t seem exactly homesick, calling America more positive, the Mirror reports. “I don’t miss the British attitude,” the actor said. “Anyone who stretches out of a middle-of-the-road life is pulled down.”
