Winslet Sues Tabloid for Libel

(Newser) – Steaming over an article that called her "the world's most irritating actress," Kate Winslet has sued a British tabloid for libel, the BBC reports. The Oscar winner was "distressed and embarrassed" by the Daily Mail's coverage of an interview in which she discussed her fitness regimen with Elle magazine, according to court papers. The filing also cites "the very unpleasant and nasty way in which the article was written," E! adds.
