What’s so great about “Three Wolf Moon,” a T-shirt that’s shot to the top of Amazon’s sales chart? Let top reviewer B. Govern explain. “Pros: Fits my girthy frame, has wolves on it, attracts women. Cons: Only 3 wolves.” That review went viral, causing a storm of sarcastic comments that has really paid off. Sales are up 2,300%, Amazon told Steve Johnson of the Chicago Tribune.
The company that makes the shirt recently felt it had to jump in to defend non-ironic customers, the BBC adds. “We appreciate humor as much as the next company,” its statement reads, but “not everyone from our neck of the woods lives in a trailer or cruises Wal-Mart to hook up.”
