RNC Recycles LBJ 'Daisy' Ad to Bash Obama on Gitmo

Classic incendiary spot doesn't age well in Michael Steele's hands

(Newser) – RNC chairman Michael Steele has rolled out an ad remixing an LBJ classic on nuclear war to warn about the danger of closing Guantanamo. The infamous 1964 spot used images of a little girl plucking petals off a daisy juxtaposed with a nuclear explosion to illustrate the risk of Armageddon. Steele’s version throws in some footage of President Obama promising to close the Cuba prison. “What's next? A remake of the Willie Horton ad?” asks Tom Schaller of Salon.

That's right, an ad LBJ and the Democrats pulled four decades ago because it was too incendiary is making a remixed comeback. - Thomas Schaller

NotNuts, check out April's paystub (I mean, IF you have one) compare with March's. Kindly note, you are offically paying LESS TAXES on your income. Your federal taxes have DECREASED. Can you not see?

Are you referring to the California that has the republican governor formulating it's fiscal policy, or the other California?
