Winona Ryder says she's getting her act together at the age of 37, but she still vividly remembers being thrown for a loop after her teenage breakup with Johnny Depp. In an interview with the UK edition of Elle, as reported by People, Ryder says the breakup occurred at the height of her fame, which complicated things.
"I think it was really ironic because, like, everybody else just thought I had everything in the world, you know, I had no reason to be depressed, everything was sort of at its peak, but inside I was completely lost." Ryder, who's been largely out of the spotlight since a shoplifting arrest, has a role in Star Trek and the upcoming Private Lives of Pippa Lee. She's also striving for more balance in her life. Her role model on that front: Kate Winslet.
