Don’t read if you’re easily grossed out: A source tells the New York Post that Britney Spears' recent Elle shoot was a disaster because “they dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes—and, well, let's just say she forgot what time of the month it was. It wasn't pretty.” Elsewhere:
- The latest drama for Courtney Love: American Express is suing her to the tune of $352,059.67 in unpaid charges and fees, E! reports.
- Paris Hilton has good taste in television shows, OK? And to that end, she does not watch The Hills: “The show is, like, so lame and fake,” she told Us while explaining why beau Doug Reinhardt won’t be appearing again: “They make up relationships when they’re not there, and he just thinks it's lame. I've never seen the show in my life. I have no idea what it's about. But he just thought it was cheesy.”
- Relatives of Peter Falk are in an ugly court battle for conservatorship of the 81-year-old Columbo star, who is suffering from dementia, the Los Angeles Times reports. Falk’s adopted daughter is battling his second wife, whom she says has not allowed her to see her father since last year.
