McCain to CIA Chief Panetta: Retract Cheney Slam Now

Panetta said Cheney almost seemed to want attack on US

(Newser) – Sen. John McCain called today on CIA director Leon Panetta to “retract immediately” his suggestion that Dick Cheney might want another attack on the US, the Hill reports. Panetta told the New Yorker that “it’s almost as if” Cheney is “wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point” that the Obama administration has made America less safe.

“I disagreed with the Cheney policy on interrogation techniques, but never did it cross my mind that Dick Cheney would ever want an attack on the United States of America," McCain told Fox News. "It's unfair, and I think that Mr. Panetta should retract, and retract immediately."

He accused him of wanting Americans to die to prove a point....that's a pretty inflammatory statement, no matter if you think he does or doesn't.

He said, “it’s almost as if” not that he definitely is wishing for it. He's saying Cheney's words and actions might lead one to think he would like an attack on Obama's watch. Agree or disagree but move on, it's just opinion.

Cheney is part of a "World Government" mentality that would justify another US attack as a means to gaining further if not complete dictatorial control. He is a lying criminal that has supported the flagrant robbery of the American people by his CIA front company Halliburton. Halliburton and other deep cover entities take no prisoners and have screwed the public out of billions of dollars for years. Ask Lyndon Johnson about Brown & Root. Reply
