DC Subway Car 2 Months Overdue for Brake Work

(Newser) – The Washington subway car that rear-ended another yesterday, killing nine passengers, was two months overdue for brake maintenance, a Metro source tells the Post today. “These components are supposed to be changed out to prevent failures,” the source said; officials have not said if they think the car’s age and condition played a role in the wreck.

That's what happens when you cut and cut and cut taxes. Only so much money to go around. Now those people are paying for America's greed. Next time you bitch about paying taxes, remember those that died today or those that died when the bridges colapsed.
