(Newser) – Wimbledon got a chance to use its new Center Court roof today when it was shut for the first time during a match, Reuters reports. The referee decided to close the lid—eight minutes to shut it, another 20-30 to get the air conditioning up to speed—as Dinara Safina faced Amelie Mauresmo amid a light rain.
