Jackson's Ex-Wife Rowe: 'I Want My Children'

(Newser) – Debbie Rowe, mother of Michael Jackson’s two eldest children, wants custody—and a restraining order to keep them away from Jackson’s father, she told KNBC-TV of Los Angeles today. “I want my children,” said Rowe, ex-wife of the late singer and mother of Michael Jr., 12, and Paris Michael Katherine, 11. “I am stepping up. I have to.”

Rowe says she will undergo DNA tests to prove she's the mother, as well as psychological tests. She didn't think a judge would grant her custody of Jackson's youngest child, who has a different surrogate mother, but she said she would be willing to raise 7-year-old Prince Michael II as well.

I assume the editor must have gotten the above title confused instead of "Jackson's Ex-Wife Rowe: 'I Want My Children' It should read " Jackson's Ex-wife Rowe: I Want my additional money". It's amazing sometimes how people get the word children and money confused.

Amazing and yet kind of confusing. She was a paid uterus (nothing more, nothing less) whom had no emotional ties to the children and now she wants them back? There was a reason for Jackson to keep her completely off the will - could it be that he knew she would be an unfit mother? In her case I assume it's all now about the money. While Jackson's mom is probably the logical choice to gain custody of the children, her age becomes a factor and if you let Joe Jackson (that pimp) close to the children he'll be chasing Prince around the house with a belt everytime he gets out of line - Jackson Justice. Poor Diana Ross might now somehow be getting involved with the child custody which she probably doesn't want to have anything to do with. Maybe Tito or Jermaine Jackson might have been better guardians - forget the two Jackson sisters since they come with big time problems. Very unfortunate and very confusing.

I agree with your comment jaguarj, but no way in heck does this woman deserve the children, she sold her rights to Motherhood years ago and is now asking for them due to the trust funds that comes with the children
