(Newser) – The Los Angeles County coroner's office has delayed the release of Michael Jackson's autopsy results indefinitely after meeting with police investigators, the Los Angeles Times reports. Officials, who earlier said that the results would probably be out next week, now say they have no idea when they will be made public. The results are expected to make clear what killed the singer.

Search warrants this week indicate that investigators are exploring communications between Jackson's personal doctor and other health professionals, and are considering charges including excessive prescribing, prescribing to an addict, manslaughter and unprofessional conduct.

most likely...MD's are supposed to be aware of what they prescribe, and why....If a person is requesting too many or too frequent a refill...it's a red flag and they should either address the problem, and or refuse to enable it to continue
