LA Plastered With Obama 'Joker' Posters

Posters of President Obama in Heath Ledger-like Joker makeup from The Dark Knight with a caption reading “Socialism” have sprung up in Los Angeles and Atlanta, the Daily Contributor reports. Similar posters online have the caption “why so socialist?” The guerilla art attacks, not yet claimed by any group, seem to be a reaction to Obama’s plan to reform the health-care system.
Ignatius Reilly, writing on Right Pundits, is delighted with the attack, though he doesn’t “‘get’ the Joker imagery.” He “would’ve turned Obama into Mao or Lenin.” Thomas Lifson thinks this is just the beginning, he writes on American Thinker. “It is starting. Open mockery of Barack Obama, as disillusionment sets in with the man, his policies, and the phony image of a race-healing, brilliant, scholarly, middle-of-the-roader.”
