(NEWSER) - After Heath Ledger died, Michelle Williams wasn't sure she would ever want to work again. "That seemed like a really smart idea," she tells GQ in a new profile. "You just want to be able to walk out of your house and turn your face to the sun and stumble down a corner where you have some memory, and you're not really allowed any of that," thanks to the paparazzi. New music video not exactly well-received

(NEWSER) - Justin Bieber teamed up with Mariah Carey for a new version of her '90s holiday classic, "All I Want for Christmas Is You," and the results are just about as bad as you'd expect. A sampling of the reactions:

• "Why has the Bieb launched a campaign to traumatize everyone who's old enough to remember the '90s?" moans Margaret Hartmann on Jezebel . His Boyz II Men video was bad enough, but "now he's released a Macy's commercial disguised as a Mariah Carey duet—though we used that term loosely because it sounds like Bieber is just wailing over the old recording of the song."

Singer ordered to stop filming after 'inappropriate' behavior

(NEWSER) - A farmer in Northern Ireland may have given Rihanna permission to shoot her music video in his wheat field—but he most certainly did not give her permission to do so while topless. Alan Graham, 61, was forced to order the singer to cover up during yesterday’s “We Found Love” shoot, Fox News reports. The best part: He drove over to her on a tractor to deliver the command. Rihanna’s outfits included a mesh top, a red bra, an American flag bikini, and unbuttoned jeans ... and the Huffington Post notes that at one point she did go sans top. But three years later, life has 'repaired itself'

(NEWSER) - When Heath Ledger died, "it felt like we didn’t have anything," Michelle Williams recalls in a new Vogue cover story. But three years later, "my life—our life—has kind of repaired itself," she says. "It's not a perfectly operating system—there are holes and dips and electrical storms—but the basics are intact." Even so, she admits Ledger's death has affected almost everything she does: "It’s changed how I see the world and how I interact on a daily basis. It’s changed the parent I am. It’s changed the friend I am. It’s changed the kind of work that I really want to do. It’s become the lens through which I see life—that it’s all impermanent." More»
