Best iPhone Apps to Manage Money

Share

(Newser) – Many banks are now developing iPhone applications to let you manage your accounts, but several free apps can help you keep your finances straight. The Wall Street Journal looks at some of the best.

  • Mint—links all of your accounts, from checking and savings to loans and investments, into one budgeting tool. Worth checking before a big-ticket purchase.

  • SnapTellsyncs with your iPhone's camera; take a shot of a book, CD, or videogame, and it will help you comparison shop online.
  • Yowza!!(the exclamation points are theirs) uses your phone's GPS to generate coupons for stores nearby. A great idea, but a bit wonky in the execution.
  • Zillowlike the real estate site of the same name, will pinpoint your location and tell you which homes around you are on the market, and which recently sold.

Mint and Zillow are two of the best personal finance apps, according to the Journal.

I wonder if someone is putting together a clever app that will redirect all of your funds to an off shore account? Reply
