Racy Miley Cyrus is in trouble with parents again—this time for her sultry pole dance on the Teen Choice Awards show on Fox. Most people who responded to a Twitter poll said the 16-year-old singer looked like a stripper, and parents are decrying the "pornification" of a young star idolized by teens, reports the Los Angeles Times.
"Pole dancing on top of an ice cream cart is not hot. It left many of us cold," said a spokeswoman for an association that monitors marketing to children.The Hannah Montana teen sometimes makes mistakes—like posing for über-hot Vanity Fair photos—her Disney handlers would have fans believe. But not everyone's buying that stance. "It's hard to know who's making those decisions," said one observer. "Somebody's got to provide the pole."
