(Newser) – Laura Ling and Euna Lee use a new video on Current TV's website to thank Americans “from the bottom of our hearts” for support during their North Korean captivity. “We learned about this grassroots movement on Facebook, about people writing in to their congressmen, to the president,” says Ling. They also learned of candelight vigils around the time of their trial. “We thought about those lights and they gave us hope.”

“It was a tough time in our lives, and we would love to share our experience with you in time,” Lee says, “but right now we want to go back to our own lives and spend time with our families.”

Although I'm glad they got released, I have no pity for these babes. That's right , get into trouble in some foriegn country and let Uncle Sam bail you out. Now it's all about the money and the book deal - I personally have no further interest in these two babes.

Boycott their asshole book unless they give the $$$$ to a worthwhile charity because they brought it on themselves for entering into N. Korea just exactly like her sister Lisa Ling did for her documentary, THEY WERE TOLD TO STAY OUT OF NORTH KOREA BEFORE THEY LEFT U.S SOIL AND THEY DID NOT, so which part of that did they not get?!! Now we'll suppose to buy her book....give me a fucking break about their book!
